How CSCprep Practice Is Structured

CSC Exam 1 Practice Questions

Build understanding chapter by chapter before moving into mixed practice. The goal is to distinguish similar concepts, apply rules to realistic facts and identify the reason behind an answer.

CSC Calculation Questions

Calculation practice is separated from ordinary recall questions so you can repeatedly work through numerical relationships, interpret the result and recognize common calculation traps.

CSC Case Studies

Scenario questions require you to identify the relevant information and apply more than one concept where appropriate. This helps bridge the gap between knowing a definition and using it in an exam-style situation.

CSC Exam 2 Practice Questions

Exam 2 practice continues the same approach with chapter-focused questions, application, comparisons and scenario-based decision making across the second half of the course.

CSC Mock Exams

Full mock exams are designed for broader retrieval practice after chapter work. Use them to expose weak areas, then return to the relevant chapter or calculation bank for targeted review.

Detailed Feedback

Practice is most useful when you understand the reasoning. CSCprep uses feedback to reinforce the tested concept and highlight why a tempting distractor can be wrong.

What Makes These Questions Different?

The free experience contains 25 Exam 1 questions and 25 Exam 2 questions. The full CSCprep course expands this into 2,500+ questions and 150+ dedicated calculations.

Exam 1 sample: A $100,000 face-value 4.25% bond trades at $96,500. The coupon remains $4,250, while current yield is about 4.40%. If comparable yields decline, the bond's price would generally rise.
Exam Trap: coupon rate uses face value; current yield uses market price.
Exam 2 sample: A 60/40 portfolio worth $500,000 drifts to $340,000 equities and $160,000 fixed income. Target equity value is $300,000, so approximately $40,000 should move from equities to fixed income.
Exam Trap: rebalance using the portfolio's current total value, not its original dollar amounts.
